About the event
A true champion is not the one who wins races, it’s the one who knows that giving your best is the only option. In the spirit of never giving up, Mumbai Sea Swimmers with the help and encouragement from its entire community is organizing its most loved Swimathon on March 12th 2023.
DATE: 12th March, 2023
TIME: 5:30 am onwards
VENUE: Silver Beach 2, Juhu
Rules:
All participants must complete their entries via the website only. Registrations close on 28th February 2023 or till all available slots are filled, whichever comes first. Each participant may take part in ONLY one swimathon race.
Mandatory Accessories:
- Swimming Goggles
- Swimming Cap
- Swimming Suit/Trunks
- Tow Floats
Banned Accessories:
- Fins, Paddles, Snorkels or any swim aids
- Wet Suit
- Tri Suit
Cut off Times:
1k: 45 minutes
2k: 1 hour 25 minutes
3k: 2 hours 15 minutes
5k: 3 hours 30 minutes
Races are open for all, men, women, and children. Age cut-off is as per current age on or before 12th March 2023. Anyone under the age of 18 years requires to be accompanied by a parent for the event. Parents or guardians take all responsibility for the participation of young swimmers.

1k: 10yrs
2k: 10yrs
3k: 12yrs
5k: 15yrs
Switching race distances & Transfers:
Requests to change between categories/races will be entertained till 5th March 2023 and must be informed to us on our email only - mumbaiseaswimmers@gmail.com
Transfers are allowed. Please inform us at our email only - mumbaiseaswimmers@gmail.com
Kindly note that switching to a longer distance race will require the difference in registration cost to be paid by the participant. In case of switching to a shorter distance, MSS will adjust and refund the fees accordingly.
Cancellation & Refund:
All cancellations will be refunded after deducting the processing fee if requested on or before 28th February 2023. Cancellations must be informed to us on our email only – mumbaiseaswimmers@gmail.com
All race categories start and finish on the beach. Timings will be maintained by MSS-designated timekeepers.
